Purple Kale Microgreen Seeds (chemical-free / untreated)

• Microgreen tray (10"x10" or 10"x20" preferred, with drainage holes)

• Growing medium: Cocopeat, cocopeat + compost (80:20), or tissue/grow mat

• Spray bottle for misting

• Light source: Natural sunlight (indirect) or LED grow light

Growing Process

Prepare the Tray

• Fill your tray with 1–1.5 inches of moist cocopeat or soil mix.

• Smooth and gently press down the surface.

Sow the Seeds

• Evenly sprinkle purple kale microgreen seeds over the surface.

• Use about 10–12 grams of seeds for a 10"x10" tray.

• Lightly press the seeds into the medium (don’t bury them).

Mist and Cover

• Spray lightly with water using a spray bottle.

• Cover the tray with a lid or another empty tray to block light.

• This keeps humidity high and encourages even germination.

Germination time: 2–3 days

Light & Air

• Once the seeds sprout, remove the cover and place the tray in bright indirect sunlight or under grow lights.

• Keep air circulation good — helps prevent mold.

Strong light helps develop deep purple color on the stems and leaves.

Harvest

• Ready to harvest in 8–12 days when plants are 2–3 inches tall and have fully opened cotyledons.

• Use clean scissors to cut just above the soil line.
